He saw my site and e-mailed me saying that he would like to market my photographs. He wants to use some of my images for posters and to have some put into galleries for sale. I have absolutely zero experience in the business of selling my photographs. Can anyone give me some advice as what to do and not to do? I realize this is a very broad subject but before I go jumping into something like this I need to know a little about what I'm getting into. I just want a fair and reasonable price for my photographs and don't want to be taken to the cleaners over this.

Hi Rodger and others:
I just finished reading a book entitled Shooting For Stock by George
Schaub ISBN 0-8174-5871-9.
This book discusses among other things, rights and what rights you sell
when. I'd suggest it and also looking at other books on Stock
Photography to get ideas of what rights are requested for what usages.
Good luck and let us know how you make out. Its always nice to hear that
someone has made it into the realm of Professional Photography.
