Hi John,
Yes, you can switch between different sound sources while scanning
across panoramics, for example watersound, beachsound in a beach
panoramic picture. 
Conc. the filter, sometimes you get a better 3D effect when you match
exactly the colour which we used to produce the picture. I record the
immage with a Roundshot Super 220 stereo camera.
