Lawrence,
I'm looking for the same thing. The Microtek ScanMaker 5 offers 1000 x
2000 dpi optical resolution. It has two scanning beds and the lower bed
that can handle from 35 mm to 8 x 10 film using various templates. I'm
willing to guess that we would have to make our own templates for 6x17 but
that shouldn't be very difficult. PCConnection offers the scanner for
$2500. (www.pcconnection.com)
Does anyone on this list have any experience with this scanner?
