IPIX-patents: error of the US-Patent-Office?

Hi all,

Personally I think, the US-Patent-Office wasn't able to figure out who
finally "invented" the algorithm for what IPIX claims to be their invention,
so they have given the patent.

Is there any possibility to drop these IPIX patents via the
US-Patent-Office instead of waiting for the maximum-patent-time to be
passed?
