dear steve- please tell simon what or who is the  the source of the
question because it is so perfect that it would appear to be a ringer.
it can be answered at several different levels. i hesitate to answer out of
my pool of forty years experience. my answers might offend, frinstance....

Please, Simon, use standard fonts. I enjoy the contents of your posts, but

What is the difference between a pano & an ordinary wide angle? If it is
just the crop, then why bother to buy a pano?
But I understand there are manytypes of panos; so which type is actually
able to give me a wide angle ( around 200 degrees) without a distortion
& by not just rcopping the image?

so let's just say that it is generally a ratio and this includes the narrow
mind.
simon says! thank you, ahmad.

This is getting out of hand.

I sent you, Simon, a private message regarding use of fonts, _only_. I
understand, and understood when I sent the initial message, that you have
problems with you vision, which I as a fellow photographer (also with 40
years experience) sympathize with deeply. However, there are ways of
writing in larger fonts yet sending unformatted text, just as there are
ways to increase the size of text that you receive.

You have now misquoted me, distributed my message to a number of people
directly and now have taken the message I sent privately and posted it to
the list. Additionally, you have now accused me of narrow-mindedness.
That's a new one, and I fail to see how that can be deduced from a request
for using fonts in the usual mailing list standard way.
dear henry- how could you say that you were misquoted if your exact message was copied and certainly  not excerpted or retyped? please identify for me which one of the righteous brothers you are.simon nathan    first you choose to censor my typing and you promised to filter me out and you didn't even keep that promise.next, i am not accusing you of narrow mindedness. you are completely competant at making that point without simon. that message was aimed to ahman. i can't determine how messages get there. it may have been lifted from  another panoramic list by steve and forwarded to this list.     Will you please drop it.   simon nathan
