FYI- the meeting in DC was promoted by the PPC, not
the IAPP as was stated. The IAPP refused to promote
the event. 

Now that Richard is the new IAPP treasurer I am sure
that he will have no problems promoting his, and that
IAPP will promote other members meetings in the
future. Congratulations Richard!

The PPC is planning a meeting in South Florida for
spring break 2001. The site that is being considered
is Homestead. It is very close to the Everglades
National Park, beautiful Miami, historic South Beach,
Biscayne National Park, and the Florida Keys. Panorama
in Paridise!
