I have the old version of this scanner (Epson GT7000 photo) and the artefact you notice is quite visible on my model : It is really a problem.
Do you think it comes from adjustments on scanner mechanics or is it a CCD  problem ?
Is it possible to have a picture example (just a small part) of the artefact you notice to compare with mine ?
(I do know if I must invest in this new model : what will be the benefit ? )

Thanks
