Stan,

I was just about persuaded to buy a 1270 or 870 when I heard of severe ink 
stability problems with glossy papers.  Don't know if the problem was with 
Epson paper.  Can these printers be used successfully with paper other than 
Epson's archival papers?  I am an amateur and would like to be able to make 
economic prints as well as high quality, long lasting ones.
