Re: Stiching Software

I just came across a review in PCPhoto for a product from www.enroute.com.
What looks interesting about this product is that it is not just for a
horizontal panorama it appears to let you stich together images in any
combination of "mosaic" layouts. Do any of the other products allow this
other than something like PhotoShop? Now the asking price is a bit steaper
than the rest of the competition as well.

I recently went with MGI Photovision and stiched some images that I shot
with a Nikon 950. I would say that my seams in several cases were apparent
and they weren't faces. I shot with the camera off tripod (probably first
problem) and took a sequecne of images of the CSS Cairo in Vicksburg. This
is an ironclad boat with long straight edges. It was good at keeping the
edges aligned, but the interior image was then duplicated - with the size
of the image you had to go look for them but they were easy to see.
