IMAX 3D in Quebec: NOT

As I reported this summer, the IMAX theatre in Hull at the Museum of
Civilization is NOT set up to show 3D. It *does* however show Imax HD (48
fps) which is impressive, to say the least. There's another feature of the
theatre that is unique: it is capable of showing both IMAX on a slightly
curved screen, *and* OMNIMAX on a dome-like screen that is stored above the
audience and swings down into place.

Incidentally, has anyone developed an LCD system for viewing projected
*slides*?
