I might just interject here for those who don't have a halogen bulb
in a Realist viewer, that I'm surprised that anyone wants a brighter
light than that put out by George Themelis' standard halogen bulb.
It's just great for viewing slides under normal lighting conditions.
My wife and I once viewed some slides in a dimly-lit room with that
bulb, and it was absolutely painful to our eyes.

Given that the Themelis viewer has the reflecting area painted white
to maximize light output, I wouldn't take a brighter bulb if it were
free. If a slide doesn't look bright enough with the standard halogen,
it's seriously underexposed.

(Hey, was that an actual opinion I just spouted?--must be getting old)
