I am a stickler for perfectly levelled shots --sorry to wander
off subject: in video-- and my Hi8 Sony viewer sufers from not-
in-the-least-so-subtle barrel distortion.

Talk about chinese torture...   :-(

But I think I'll try the muscle-building gravity bar: how do
people manage to dream up such clever ideas?? (I do think I'll
add a hinge so I can tilt the camera and keep the horizon ok, 
though.)
