Shooting stars

>Apropos 3d pictures of the famous: in the introduction to _3D Hollywood_

The Stereo Club of Southern California (SCSC) is a direct decendant of the
Hollywood Stereoscopic Society, but in our large archive (which includes some of
Lloyd's originals) there are only a few shots of famous stars. The library is
currently cared for by Susan Pinsky and David Starkman of Reel-3D Enterprises.

Although off on a tangent, this discussion reminds me of a time a few years ago
when actor Bruce Davison, who is a friend of mine, asked me to edit his 8mm home
movies for him. The funny thing was that they looked just like everyone else's
home movies, with embarrassed-looking friends self-consciously mugging for the
camera, except these friends were the likes of Natalie Wood, Robert Wagner,
Lucille Ball, and Nicol Williamson! It's refreshing to know that EVERYBODY acts
foolish in home movies!
