Alternatively, one could use multiple weaker ones.  I've two
ancient (bought cheap) Vivitar flashes each with a GN of 130 
feet (w/ASA 100).  Putting a remote flash adapter on one and putting 
it next to the primary flash (rather than at 45 degrees away as might
be normally used) would yield a higher equivalent GN.
One could use cables for this short usage -- but I've already
the light-sensitive remote adapter for "normal" dual-flash usage :-).

And of course, one can then resplit them when desired for normal
multi-flash usages!  Might even be better than a single #5 bulb.  :-)
