Thanks for the two-screen-testing. I found it particularly interesting
seeing as how your lenticular is the same model of Dal-Lite screen that I
bought from B&H for my 3D screening!
The thing I wonder about is the effect of having the projector further
back. My Compco Triad also has 5" lenses, but I have the projector
quite a bit further from the screen as to fully fill the 50"x50" screen,
so even the ortho point is more than 5' from the screen (there aren't
seats that close anyway).
In particular, I wonder what the relative brightness (between screen types)
is "way" off to the side, say at 45 degrees off axis? I've got the room
for the projector being far enough to fill the screen, but some the main
sofa seating areas ranges from straight-on to side-viewing.
