Which reminds me of another bit of trivia:
The first day of a new century (i.e. Jan 1st 2001/2101/2201 .... etc)
cannot occur on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. Apparently one
can prove this (I haven't manage to yet) and it's based on the
leap-year algorithm mentioned previously.
