Dear Bob & Photo-3D,

Sounds like you've got a great group here! I'm searching for resources
available to include 3-D information, photographs, and exhibits for an
exhibition at Explora Science Center in Albuquerque, NM? Permission to
borrow, receive or utilize photographs, equipment and software associated
with 3-D phenomenon and technology, general photographic technology and
history of photography. We are also looking for images that could be
utilized to complement "Interactions" in art and science under one of the
three topics: 1) weather, tectonic plates, desert sand dune formations,
tornadoes, mist, chaos, and complexity; 2) Vision, color and visual
perception; 3) sound, music, acoustics and audio perception. If you would
like to participate in some way, please email me at the address below.
Include how you would like to be recognized as the source of any information
or materials.

Explora is a hands-on learning center providing free entrance to scheduled
school groups of New Mexico into our facility containing educational
interactive exhibits and demonstrations. The program also serves other
youth, adults, and senior citizens of our community. We are planning an
exhibition opening March 27, 1996 on "Interactions" in Art & Science. For a
one year period following the opening we will be modifying and complementing
the exhibition.

One of the exhibit areas will be dedicated to vision, color and visual
perception. I have been reading background material such as "Eye, Brain and
Vision" by David H. Hubel, "Color Observed" by Enid Verity, "Dimensional
Color" by Lois Swirnoff, and "The Perceptual World, Readings from Scientific
American," edited by Irvin Rock,. Would you have a list of additional
recommended reading sources on the subject? We are planning to show exhibit
related imagery and 3-D imagery, exhibits on the Bidwell Afterimage, color
illusions, color measurement, pallets of magnetic colors for visitor created
art and visual experimentation, etc. Do you have other development ideas?

I am searching the Internet for sites and software relating to the above
topics as well.

We are also in the process of planning a 40,000 sq. ft. facility adjacent to
the New Mexico Natural History Museum. If you are interested in
participating in discussions on that facility, please contact me at the email
address shown above?

Thank you for your consideration.
