Re: Film about Stereo Photography

In his 19 Jan posting on "Film about Stereo Photography" 
Paul.Enchelmayer@xxxxxxxxxxx stated that Rollins College
in Winter Park (Orlando) Florida was showing a film called
"Stereo Photography: Places and Times Remembered" on 28 Jan. 
Paul also asked if anyone was familiar with this film.

Paul, I am not familiar with this film but it certainly 
sounds interesting.  I would guess that it might be somewhat
like the book THE WORLD AS IT WAS showing views from 
stereograms.  

If some benevolent Photo-3Ders would send me a round trip 
airline ticket from Cleveland, O-Hee-O to Orlando,Florida, I
would be happy to attend the showing and post a report for 
the benefit of the group :-))  (It's cold here now and even
with a name like WINTER Park, central Florida sounds awfully
inviting - and who knows, I might be able to get some good 
stereo photos at Mickey Mouse Land while there).  I would even
take a bunch of NSA application forms and instructions on 
subscribing to PHOTO-3D for handouts (at the show---not
Mickey Mouse Land-I'll leave that for someone else) 

Seriously Paul, I for one would like to see a posting if you 
do attend the showing.  If the film or a video tape of the film
is available for loaning, I would be interested in the details.
The 1995 NSA Directory shows ten members in Orlando and two 
including yourself in Winter Park.  Also, AndyBurr@xxxxxxx
and located in Winter Park identified himself as a relatively 
new NSA member, not yet in the Directory, who was very interested 
in stereo viewcards. Sounds like there is a strong 3-D interest
in your locale who would be interested in the Rollins College
showing.
