My belated 2-cents-worth:
As one of the persons who reads practically every post (non-digest), I think
photo-3d is fine just the way it is. (Although I still wish there was a more
suitable place for exchange of collector info.)
I feel compelled to stick up for us newbies who are going to ask some of the
same old questions. Some of us are technologically challenged; i.e., our
computers are so primitive that we're lucky we can even get online at all,
and visiting a web site or retrieving files from some electronic repository
is just a dream. Limited storage space can make saving every post an
impossibility. When I read about converting a whatsis for use by modifying a
thingamajig, I don't always recognize the value of the post--until a few
weeks down the road when it's just what I want to know. One of the good
things about photo-3d is that when someone asks a basic question, they are
usually dealt with respectfully and patiently. For that I thank you all.
Re the presentation of the film about 3D Feb 28 at 3pm at Rollins College
here in Winter Park, I wouldn't miss it! I look forward to meeting Paul E and
other Central Florida stereotypes!
Resuming lurking mode,
Andy Burr
