I'm just a collector, mostly, but I've seen many different formats.  I 
love collecting VM because it's relatively easy for me to find.  But if I 
actually timed myself while viewing, I'd be willing to bet I spend more 
time on my Realist slides too!  (Even the ones I didn't take)
It may be, in part, because the VM makes it so easy to switch views 
quickly, but the size may play a part as well.  It just seems as if I've 
seen it all very quickly, in a View Master.
Oh well, I'm not so scientific, but you can count me into your research.
