Rochester convention

I have finally managed to figure out a way to afford going to the Rochester convention (YIPEE!). Unfortunately, I must book my time off from work soon so I have a few questions:

1.Are the dates 'August 1-5' firm?
2.What is the usual cost for admission, workshops, etc... (ballpark) 3.Are there usually special hotel rates? 4.(dumb question...) Is there enough to keep one occupied the whole 5 days? 

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

I look (VERY!!!) forward to meeting everyone and being exposed to such a healthy dose of 3D!
