Re: B&W Slides
#
#If memory serves, there was a discussion some time ago about black and white
#slide film.
#
#I just opened a new box of Kodak Technical Pan 2415 film at work and saw a
#referrence to direct positive developing. I called my local camera shop and
#inquired. They do carry the kit called Kodak T-Max 100 Direct Positive Film
#Developing Outfit (Catalog #812-1188). They sell it for $37.10 and it makes
#one quart. There is a developer, reverse developer, two bleaches, and a wash.
#It seems that this was made for T-Max film although other films (such as the
#Tech Pan) can be used as well.
I was unaware that Tech Pan would work...!
I just got the reversal kit from Photographer's Formulary - it costs $17.95
and does four rolls. Additionally, last time I looked (about a year ago), B&H
had the TMAX reversal kit for $25.
I haven't had time to try the kit yet...
#I have not found a lab that is or has done the processing, but several said
#they would do single batch developing. One said they would have the
#processing available all the time with a minimum per month amount.
There is a lab in Wyoming that does TMAX reversal, but I don't have the
reference here. If no one else posts it, I'll try to look it up. Laramie,
I think...
