I've said it before and I'll say it again:  Given that some unwanted
messages are still getting through, and some good stuff is having to
be hand-forwarded by one of the moderators, why not just drop the
filter?  The occasional "unsubscribe me" message is annoying, but it
hasn't been a major problem with this list even before the filter was
implemented.

I really appreciate all the work you moderators have done to keep this
a worthwhile, low-noise mailing list.  I'm just making a suggestion to
save you some trouble.
