Apollo Stereos

In digest 1162, Martin Simon pointed the way to three stereos from the
US Apollo program which had been shot on the moon. These are found at
his web site http://www.physics.ucla.edu/~msimon. He commented: "I
must say that after all the searching and anticipation the images
are a little disappointing, despite their historic significance."

I would have to disagree with this assessment. I find the stereos
fascinating! I downloaded all three and they now reside on my hard
drive in the same folder as Bob Mannle's beautiful analglyphs for the
ISU and NSA Convention. A chance to see stereos from the moon missions
easily outweighs any criticisms I may feel about the astronaut's
technical skill. Besides, they don't look at all bad. Are there any
more, Martin?
