I understand the point being made is that the 'average' camera-user cares 
little about quality (essentially 100% "snapshots") and as such, 2D/3D makes no
difference.  "Snapshots" in both cases.

I think there is one major difference.  The bad 3D's give people quick and
noticable headaches.  Much less so with 2D's.  A very real and significant 
negative.

Last Christmas, I gave a projected 3D slide show at my brother's home.  At 
the end, there was a *demand* to show *MORE*.  I reluctantly grabbed a set 
of realist slides "fresh from Kodalux" which hadn't been sorted through as 
yet (only thing I  happened to have with me in one of my bags).  Boy, was 
that a mistake!!!!!!!

Had they been flatties, it'd have been no big deal.  In 3D some were 
several real brain/eye twisters.
