I've tried it sorta...I have used two opaque projectors with polarizing filters
for a Forensic Photogrammetry demonstration (in my lab). IMO, the results were
rather crummy but apparently of sufficient quality to scare the hell out of two
attorneys that settled their case within 5 minutes outside of my lab...
(Stereo of Opportunity strikes again - about 15 years ago on this case.)
