I am sorry to hear that.  Orthoman, be careful!  If the bulb is set to 750 W,
it will Sherly melt your mounts!

On 22 Feb, Dr. George A. said that the solution to the problem with the FED
settings was to use a Realist.  Dr. George, I don't follow your logic.
 Orthoman needs help with his ^FED^ not his taste in equipment.  ;+++++++)
 Besides, I mirror the experience of another poster (not Harry), who said
that he often bumps the Realist focus wheel at inappropriate times.  The
Realist has its problems (it's called fumble-fingered operators like ME).

A Steve "scooter" wrote on 22 Feb that he has "a VM Personal camera with a
stripped gear in the film advance mechanism."  Mr. scooter, I bet that gear
would make an awesome subject for some steamy infrared-Russian-night -vision
stereoscopic images!  I'll try some tonight.
