3D Single Use Camera

I sent an E-post to Kodak, encouraging their R&D and marketing department to
research the development of a Single Use 3D Camera (they are not disposable
cameras, as some people call them, the cameras get recycled).
I recall for years, I use to create panorama pictures by panning my 35mm, and
would then cut and paste them together. DUH! Could have made a fortune
had I patented the now lucrative "panorama" single use camera.
Kodak, or the first company to get off the dime, could increase it's film
sales two fold by creating a single use 3D camera. Whether in transparencies
or prints, what's old is new. With so much attention on Pretend 3D in
computers, people are hopefully primed for REAL 3D in cameras.
Well, they answered that my suggestion had been passed upward. Now if you
will send Kodak some E-mail to make a similar suggestion, and get your
friends, family, associates to do the same, this thing is market driven.
They are not going to create a whole new camera line for a special interest
group - it's got to make money.
Sure, a single use 3D camera isn't going to be a Realist, but the pictures
I've obtained from single use cameras are pretty good, certainly good enough
to meet mass market appeal.
If it is a marketing success, next step could be a Point and Shoot 3D
camera. With today's technology, I just imagine a 3D Point and Shoot would
be a smashing success - a whole "new" market; like a realist with autofocus,
autoexposure, and built in flash; and most of all, light, portable, and
affordable. Hot-dog!! Can't hurt to ask.
