Apropos Nancy Castro's post on 3D attractions, I am reminded of a visit to
London in 1979, where I toured the house of a famous architect whose name I
cannot now recall. The house was just amazing, as it had a center "atrium"
which extended from the basement to the second floor, and walls covered with
paintings that swung out to provide more open space when necessary. There was
at least one spiral staircase, and the place was filled with statues and
other sculpture. I'd appreciate someone providing the name of the architect
and the location of the house; I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be
interested.
