needed by both Jamie Drouin and Maurice Smith for macro work.
You know, I think both Jamie and Maurice may need the polarized
version of Bill's Amazing SL3D invention. The advantage is that
you don't have the potential for some color limitations. What
you do in this case is do the same thing Paul Kline does with the
Jimmy Songer patent which is put anaglyph filters at the iris of
the lens _except_ you put two polarizering filters there instead.
Then you put matching polarizers on the CCd and you're done. That's
if I understand Bill's patent correctly. Really Bill should be
explaining this stuff.
The advantage of Bill's and Songer's SL3D (and Bill won't agree 8-)
is that you can vary the interocular by changing the iris diameter.
To increase interocular, open up the aperture and then put a neutral
density filter in front of the lens if the result is too bright.
