A company here in San Francisco makes a claymation cartoon series for
some kids show. It's characters live in the mess under a bed. The
company shot a couple of these in 3-D. The 3-D was great and added
allot! But, one thing I didn't get, was the strange post-impressionistic
back drop. In fact I didn't even realize the setting was supposed to be
under a bed, untill I viewed it with one eye. Even with the addition
of movement, it was only in 2-D that the back drop matte could look like
overhead springs and slats as viewed from under a bed.
