Nothing is impossible, but I feel that this would involve a major camera
conversion.
Not only would special additional lens elements be needed to achieve focus
but the problem of alignment would be a major one, since View-Master personal
reels do not permit adjustment. It would be great to have a camera to do
this.

One of the View-Master engineers (Stereocraft) was planing to make a camera
to copy VM reels, so yes with a lot of work it could be done.
