Some assistance, s.v.p.

Can a knowledgable someone settle the question of the differences
between Wollensak and Revere lenses (there being two variations of
lenses found on Reveres, no?)

I have heard several different accounts, ranging from the two being
totally different optical designs (if so, what is the optical
configuration on the Wollensak?), to there being no difference, with
both of the camera's lenses being picked from the same production line,
the claimed 1/2 stop difference in speed a ficticious one!

It is time for Wollensak owners to set the record straight (if we have
any)...

Thank you.
