Dear fellow 3D-photo list members and 3D-Expo2 participants,

I was privileged to be the first recipient of the 3D-Expo2 'traveling photo
show'.  What a wonderful experience it was!

After a year on this list, I can now associate many names with faces and
photographic works of art.

With media spanning the range from "View Magic" to 6 cm transparency pairs,
and from large scale back-lit lenticulars to stereo video, the show exposed
me to 3D formats which I had never seen before.   Having pursued 3D
photography in relative isolation for many years, I was entirely delighted
with the talent, skill and imagination of those who contributed images.

"Edu-tainment" at its best!

I am writing to express my appreciation to all of you who comprise this
list, for your generous sharing of expertise, willingness to assist
beginners, humor and sensitivity in discussing all manner of technical and
philosophical issues, and overall high level of professional demeanor.

And to Joel Alpers, congratulations for what was clearly a tremendous
amount of hard work in assembling a coherent and enjoyable 'gallery' out of
such a diversity of entries.

Thank you all for allowing me to share this forum with you.
