Filter holder for splitter

Hi, all.

I have just acquired a neat-looking, mint (can't vouch for optics)
Stereo-Tach beam splitter, apparently made in the late 40s. It comes with a
contraption to attach it to "any" camera, but it is, to say the least,
clumsy. The preferred alternative, according to the instructions, is to
screw it on a 50mm lens by means of a "Kodak Wratten Filter Adapter" No. 7.
Can such a beast be obtained today? If so, where? If not, alternatives?
