    WELL SAID!

When I tell people that I am making VM reels they always respond (if
they even remember what it is!) with "Oh, what fun!" I usually give a
quick smile, and then go into the many serious applications of the medium.
I stress that this is not an advertising 'gimmic' and that it offers a
range of qualities still unmatched by the best computer screens.

I believe in educating the public about 3D by showing how it can apply
to their lives...not how it's going to replace television for the kids ;-)

One of my biggest gripes with VM is that with all the work I put into
the aesthetics of the images, package, presentation...I have to sell those
horrible viewers! I'd love to have the financial backing to get a special
run of black or deep blue viewers (with appropriately colored advance
plates, of course!) made by TYCO, but till then, all my best efforts to dig
VM out of the pre-school section of the toy store are being underminded by
those dreadful candy colored things.

Would it make sense for a company like Reel-3D, Charley Van Pelt, or
even the NSA to fund and sell a better looking VM viewer?

                                          :-)jamie.
