VCR clocks

I believe that all the time that all of us have wasted (and THAT'S the
irony here) writing about and reading about setting VCR clocks would have
been better spent picking up the VCR manual and actually <learning> how to
set the damn thing!

Like so many things in today's society, it all boils down to 1) we don't
care, 2) we're too lazy, or 3) just do it.
