Virtual Max

I thought I would pass along the following brief article that appeared
in the June 1996 issue of a magazine that provides "Entertainment
for Men". I do not wish to offend any reader of this list and
offer the following as purely informational.
"...The Virtual Max System, Developed by a Los Angeles-based company
of the same name, includes an adapter that hooks up to your VCR, two
videos and a pair of stereoscopic glasses. No, not those flimsy
red-and-blue cardboard specs circa 1950. With the Virtual Max System,
you wear lightweight liquid crystal lenses that decode and separate 3-D
signals on prerecorded videotapes. Having tested Virtual Max at the
winter Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, we can vouch for its
depth-effectiveness. To date, there are 17 videos to choose from. You get
two when you purchase the hardware-and with titles such as "Tripper
Stripper" and "Hot Blades", there's something for almost every preference.
And if you don't want to drop $300 for your own 3-D system, head to an
adult video store and rent one for $10 a day. Virtual Max' creators, by the
way, hope that Hollywood filmmakers will soon follow with mainstream
3-D movies." Virtual Max 1-800-406-1994
As they say, I have no affiliation with this company (I only wish!) ;-)
