Gee, when I was a kid I used to LOVE to run my fingers across the surface of
lenticular post cards and the like! I'm not here to sing the praises of
lenticular photography. It's rather limited, particularly now that the
"standard" has been reduced to three images. But the surface?!? It's a thing of
beauty! (I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way either. I've got one
of those lighted lenticular movie displays from the '50s, and I've often noticed
how people seem to enjoy running their fingers across it's ribbed surface.)
Could you be denying yourself one of the great dimensional fetishes?
