Combining the large number of blatant inaccuracies in the literature quoted with
the fact that these people were the "technical advisors" on the Married With
Children episode, I wouldn't take anything they said very seriously. The show
was out-and-out fraud. Hyped as being in 3D and providing the audience with
standard Pulfrich glasses, the finished show had only one or two shots that
might possibly have been trying to achieve the Pulfrich effect. To me, the
producers seemed to be saying that 3D buffs are all such ignorant buffoons that
all you need to do is stick a pair of goofy glasses on them, TELL them they're
seeing 3D, and they'll buy it and beg for more.
