No Subject


Many thanks to Tom White, John Weiler, Bob Weir, Rick Inzero, and Dave Emlen for helpful responses to my questions pertaining to my 5/7/96 posting in Digest 1317 "Where Erie Canal Crosses Mohawk River".

I thought it very interesting that Rick and Dave had seen the remnants of the canal and locks. Rick, I do not have a scanner or any way to upload the Lantern Slide, but maybe I can make a photo of it. If nothing better, perhaps I can bring it with me to the NSA Convention in August. John, I'll contact you off line for more info on the message on the back of your stereo view and perhaps we can determine which side of the negative was used for this Lantern Slide.
