Re: Big Screen Projection

Hi all,

Does anyone know the relationship between the size of projected images and
the distance of the projector to the screen? In other words, (assuming a
TDC with 5" lenses) how far back does the projector have to be to fill a 40
x 40" screen; a 70 x 70" screen; a 10' x 10' screen? What about with 4" lenses?

I seem to remember something similar being discussed already and I did a
quick search of the photo-3d archives, but I must be using the wrong words :-)

Also (just wondering aloud), why would Dr. T sell the TDC with 4" lenses and
keep the one with 5" lenses? I always thought the 4" were much more
desirable. Are there disadvantages to the 4"?
