VM Mounting
- From: P3D Paul S. Boyer <boyer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Recently I received from processing (in my wife's dark room) my first
roll of ViewMaster stereo exposures. I cut out the chips with the
$pecial cutter, and proceeded to mount.
I thought that I was following the dircetions properly, but managed
to get shots upside-down, and sometimes reversed! My main problem
was getting the chips into their slots properly. A regular pair of
tweezers
was no help, so I ended up (in my excitement and enthusiasm) using my
hands -- knowing full well that this is *not* good for slide film. I
had washed my hands carefully,
but ..
Then I tried to wipe the oil of the slides after the fact, with about
80%
success. But 80% < 100%.
So, I have been informed by an expert that dddalia has tools
available for
mounting VM chips, and that there are other such devices on the
market.
Can you, esteemed reader, tell me more?
