Probably the easiest source to track down is from a hardware store.
White PVA adhesive is widely used in carpentry. In the UK we have a
variety supplied in green "squeezy" bottles and made by the same people
as "evo-stick". 

The other source of (probably larger) supplies would be a bookbinder's
supplier. When used for this trade the glue is usually more runny - just
water down the woodworking glue a touch...
