|I hope those with an interest in 3D won't wait around for the big
|productions before making their own quality work available. I'm hoping that
|3D made more common by use on computer systems will encourage better film
|productions in the future as well. The audience is waiting...

Well, gee since you mention it - I had my computer graphics class
generate "movies" in the Spring semester using POVRAY - of course
for a one semester project they ended up being only 30 seconds long
or so (lack of a film recorder or frame-at-a-time writable video disk
limits you to what can be stuck on a hard disk). If I get a chance, I'm
going to go back and re-render the "right eye", composite them
together for cross eyed viewing and see what I've got :-)
