Because it was introduced before the Stereo Realist format became
"standard", this model has a very clever slide carrier with two slide
channels. The one closer to the front of the projector is for the 1 5/8" x
4"
slides of either American or European format. The rear channel is two
inches high and will take a standard 2" x 2" stereo slide. Although
never a "standard" stereo format, this is a logical size, as it is simply
two 2" x 2" 35mm slides with a 1/2" spacer between them.
