Lattes, Volvos, Viewmasters & 3-D in Portland

Greetings with caffeine and cinnnamon from Portland, one of the latte
capitals of the Pacific Northwest......I mean....in New England....you can
look long and hard for a latte.....even though Starbucks touched down
several years ago....but here I sit....at the computer, at Levy
Design.......headquarters for Shab Levy's fabulous endeavors (thanks
Shab....for letting me on here to annoy everyone!)

This afternoon I toured Levy Design Inc......in Portland......and saw some
of Shab's fantastic museum exhibit work in progress....and Shab is so
generously offering the corporate boardroom at Levy Design (it has a big
long table in there....great 3-D subject!).....for tonights 3-D meeting of
the Eastest Coastest Jon Golden....with some of the Westest Coastest
Cascade Stereo Club members.....

Shab took me out for a latte (actually I bought!)....and then we went for a
walk....and the most amazing coincidence occurred.  Shab took me down the
street to see some work he had done for Will Vinton's Claymation
studio.....and as we walked there, we talked about love, life, great
3-D....and other man-to-man subjects.....I was distracted from our chat by
the sight of a beautiful 1973 Volvo P1800 coupe (I drive a 1973 P1800 ES)
just about to be started by its owner....and said "Pardon me Shab, but I
must go and compliment the owner of that beautiful car!"......so we walked
over and tapped the window......and when the person in the passenger seat
opened the door.....we noticed that he had a View-Master personal camera
around his neck.....NOW THAT IS A COINCIDENCE!  So we invited him to the
meeting tonight....and it turned out that he asked me if I knew Ron Labbe
(Ha-Ha!).......well enough on that for now because there is no spellchecker
on this email program and Shab is correcting my every error.....time to go
get dinnner Shab (and I am buying I think!)
