Correction and additions...

PSA = National Stereoscopic *Association*.  Started as a collector's
      association but quickly evolved to cover every aspect of 3-D.
      Publishes "Stereo World" ("The magazine of 3-Dimensional Imaging,
      Past & Present") and organizes a convention once a year, the site
      for which has been the subject of many discussions lately...

Two more societies, in addition to the ones mentioned in the previous
posting:

ISU = International Stereoscopic Union.  Publishes "Stereoscopy".

Third Dimension Society (UK).  Has a publication with the same name.

The Stereoscopic Society (UK) publishes the very ineresting
"Journal of 3-D Imaging".

Individual stereo clubs in the USA publish newsletters and let
people subscribe to the newsletters.  Depending on how much money 
one has to burn, he or she could join all these Societies and
subscribe to every possible source of information.

But, there is a lot of information overlap.  Besides, it's no
secret that the best source of information on 3-d is Photo-3d
and it is free! (well, sort of...)
