I should have said that if you plan to use slide bar for macro, 
I would recommend using the maximum allowable on-film deviation 
(maofd) method of determining stereobase for your slide bar.
 
Information on how to do that is in the aforementioned photo-3d web/ftp
site and the latest version is always in my own anonymous ftp site:
