One might also mention, that the great yellow father "Kodak"
still commercially mounts Realist (5-perf) slides.  Not just
in the past... now.  I don't think they mount 7-perf stereo
or 8-perf stereo in stereo mounts.  So the most "modern" is
the 5-perf in this respect.

May argue how well Kodak does it, but they do do-it.  :-)
